How OpenWater and CAS Work Together

How OpenWater and CAS work together

Central Authentication Service (CAS) is a long running single sign on protocol that pre-dates the modern SAML / OAUTH we see now. CAS is often used by Universities and other large organizations as their mechanism to transfer sign on to another party.

FAQ

How does the integration work?
OpenWater’s login mechanism is replaced with your University / Organization login page. 2-Factor and other security measures you take will seamlessly work.

What APIs do you use?

We use the CAS Protocol.
