What's New at OpenWater — Spring 2026
A lot has been happening behind the scenes at OpenWater, and we wanted to take a moment to catch you up on what's new, what's coming, and what you can start using today.
A new UI, available now. Our redesigned interface is live and ready for you to explore. To access it, simply add /admin-beta to the end of your dashboard URL. The new UI will remain in public beta until the release of our next major feature, so now is a great time to get familiar with it.
OpenWater AI is here, and clients are already running with it. Earlier this year, we launched OpenWater AI, giving program administrators direct control over AI-powered workflows within the platform. You define the prompts; OpenWater runs them securely against your submission data. Whether you're summarizing entries, scoring submissions, or flagging issues for review, OpenWater AI is built to flex around your program's needs, not the other way around. Adoption has been strong enough that one client has already far surpassed 10 million tokens. We love to see it.
Integrations hub updates. In Q1, we rolled out improvements to the integrations hub, including mobile app sync support for Clowder and a revamped Guidebook integration. Great news if you're running a conference program with a mobile component.
Coming soon: Participant Manager. Our most-anticipated feature for abstract and conference clients is on its way in Q2. The Participant Manager will give you a centralized hub to track, manage, and communicate with your participants, all within OpenWater. We'll have more to share as we get closer, but if you run a large conference or abstract program, you'll want to keep an eye out for this one.
Questions about any of these updates? Reach out to your support rep. We're happy to walk you through what's available today and what's on the horizon.
