AWHONN - From Spreadsheet Stress to Simple Success
The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) is a nonprofit membership organization that supports more than 25,000 nurses working in women’s health, obstetrics, and neonatal care. AWHONN advances nursing practice through advocacy, research, and continuing education across all 50 U.S. states and an Armed Forces section.
RESULTS
AWHONN used OpenWater to replace its manual awards process with a centralized, automated system. Staff automated communications, saving weeks of work. Judges evaluate submissions in one platform without spreadsheets or email. Applicants can save progress, use pre-filled profiles, and download submissions. The system supports redacted reviews and program duplication, reducing bias and simplifying setup.
